2 Million iPads sold in 60 days

Apple has sold 2 million iPads since the day it went out April 3rd.This is only in the U.S. The CEO says they are having a hard time keeping up with demands. There are 5,000 apps for the iPad. all together there are 200,000 apps for the iPod Touch, iPhone, and the iPad. It took them only 28 days to sell the first million.

I can't believe that people have enough money for this. How is it any different from an iPod touch? I understand that it's cool and trendy but you could be spending your money on something else. Then again I'm not that big on techy type things.

The Last Harry Potter Movie

Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe talk about the last two weeks of shooting the last Harry Potter movie. Daniel says that he will be devastated that it's ending but that it's also very exciting. Emma says she feels like someone is dying.

It's very sad that it's ending but everyone knows that it has to. I'm excited for it to come out. It feels weird to know that both I and the actors grew up with the movies. everyone my age did. it'll be strange when it's over.

Lost Commercials

Ads for Lost went up to $900,000 a pop. Target decided to take charge and did little "spoofs" of the show. Using the smoke monster for a smoke alarm and a boar for BBQ sauce. Most people are ok with this, but the writer of the show said it was cheap.

I saw the commercials and I thought they were funny. I don't think they were cheap and I think most of the Lost fans found hummor in it. That's the most important part is the fans

Bare Faces

It seems to be the new celebrity trend to not wear any make up. Jessica Simpson is the trend setter. They are baring all showing their true selves. It is a way to empower women showing that glamor comes from inside.

This is pretty cool but at the same time I am somewhat skeptic about it. you see the covers with stars without makeup....but it still looks like they are. They might not be wearing makeup but I wonder if Photo Shop had a part to play.

Betty White at the Oscars

There is another Frenzy about Betty White on Facebook. There is another Campaign for her only this time it's for her to host the Oscars. There is another Facebook page underway for her to host the Emmy awards. White hasn't said anything about hosting or wanting to host the Oscars. We will just have to wait and see.

I hope she does! That would be so cool. I haven't heard of anyone not liking Betty White. I'll go on Facebook and join if that's waht I have to do to get Betty on to the Oscars I'll do it.

The Next Justin Bieber?

Greyson Michael sang one of Lady GaGas songs, Paparazzi, at a sixth grade talent show. Youtube has helped in the making of a star. He was on Ellen Degeneres performing the song. He also got a call from Lady GaGa. He has been dubbed "Little Lord GaGa".

I watched the video and he did such a good job. It was insane how well he did. I can't wait to see what else he has in store.

College Dropouts

I just read a little article on the top 10 college dropouts. Some of them included Tom Hanks, Tiger Woods, Harrison Ford, and Lady GaGa. A lot of them seemed to have the same reason for dropping out. it was to expensive or they wanted to do there carer choice full time.

I never realized that that many famous people dropped out. It might have been a good thing that they did because some of them might not have invented the things that they did. Like Steve Jobs who founded Apple and Pixar. If he stayed in college he might not have changed the world like he did.
